hello again, im doing an allnighter again.... -.- bad idea i know... anwyay, i tried using colors a bit more on this latest concept, i know, i know, but hey, at least im not NOT using any colors =P i was originally doing it in black and white but i figured i needed some colors...

ok, so ive made a new sheet of concepts based on mine and a few others favourites, these are the three demonprinces/princesses that ive decided to render out and see if you guys like em more or less :P

so i redid number 4, ive decided to stick with the demonprince class since drawing kickass demon/humans is just way more fun.

im planning on fleshing out all of them except for the first one in the demonprince sheet...

anyway, as i said i kind of rendered #4 and i think she turned out great, my personal favourite so far, i did 4 versions of her, with, and without a demonic helmet, and i also did a quick huechange to see if she would look better with ice as her element.

so what do u think? fire or ice? with or without helmet?

got some updates, did a few concepts for dominancewar, its starting to lean towards a 6legged demonlord, or a demonprincess, i dont have any concepts of that yet tho =)

hi everybody! im keeping the sculpts up, i think im gonna go with the GoW-approach to dominancewar, that is, make a sculpt first, play around with it to make sure i like it, and then, only then, take it into maya, redo the topology, uvmap it, normalmap it, and then texture and pose. sounds simple enough....

new sculpt for the day, as usual i dont know what it is, i tried adding some details to it with colors and materials because it looked too plain otherwise, i ended up screwing it up, so i threw this awesome material on it to cover up my little texturing misshap :)

this is turning into some sort of a sketchbook now, heres a zbrushdoodle again, wow, i rly do these late... =P it turned into a slightly toonish goblin this time, oh yeah, i add the colors in ps for 5 minutes just to see what happens, so the pics arent textured at all, just trying out some quick and dirty ideas

new zbrushdoodle, im gonna try to make one of these every day, im probably not going to be able to do that for long but, oh well... heres todays sculpt, i have no idea what it is, i just made some shapes and let them take me wherever they were going =P im rly liking this way of making concepts... took me about 1 hour..

ok, havent done anything in a while, ive been trying to get a hold of a new wacom pen and today i found one, so i celebrated by doing a zbrushsketch from a sphere, hardly feels worth it when u spend so much time searching for forms and trying to get that little part out a bit, it just seems like a weird form from a basemesh in maya would do better for my purposes, guess we all have our own taste, anyway, i had no idea what i wanted to do, somehow i saw a skull somewhere and went with it, i rly have no idea what it is tho, i guess if i wanted to take it a bit further id make it into a torsoarmor or something....

updates updates, just a few textureadjustments, got the corridor done now, next up, tileable floors for a big bunker room!

Oh hi, just updating, changed the stripes to babyblue, and i also slapped a ceiling in there... not sure if i should keep it and cover it up with props or just redo it

i actually powered through the evening too, and i took nights advice over at gameartisans, and added some fiery cracks to our dear bobo, not too sure about it, i havent slept tonight so my judgement might be a bit off =P anyways heres a turntable, as usual its rly short :P

OK IM DONE!

Minicompetition: FINISHED!

I got an awesome tip over at gameartisans, basically saying i should incorporate some self-illumination into the character to make him less.....meh..... so tomorrow, or some day soon, im going to add some cracks revealing lava or something else thats fiery and glowing.

OK, ive been up all night sculpting, now ive been up all day texturing, and i think im ready to call it finished... i havent worked out a presentation for it yet but here is a temporary sheet of 3 views until i get a proper presentation...
